How to use sounds
Double-click a sound icon to listen. Press -period to interrupt the sound.
You can use sounds in your own projects: QuickTime movies, America Online chat rooms, multimedia projects, and so on.
If you drop one of these sound icons onto your System folder, you can also install it into your own Mac. From there, you can open your Sound control panel (choose Control Panels from your menu) to see it, play it, and choose it as your error beep. (Don’t use a long sound for your error beep, however — unless you want to wait until it’s finished playing every time you make a mistake!)
